Websites for tint shops

A website that gets found, not just admired.

A tint shop website should sell the work you want most, with your film brand named properly. Most small business websites are built to look finished and then left alone. The ones that actually produce work are built around the searches customers make, wired to be measured, and owned outright by the person paying for them. That last part is less common than it should be.

Websites for window tint, PPF and ceramic coating shops

Tint Guy LLC’s rebuilt site has its own pages for automotive tint, paint protection film, ceramic coating and its Ceramic Pro Elite products, a careers page that takes applications, and real-lead tracking on every form and call. A rebuilt site is included in the Full Shop package.

You probably do not need a new website.

We would rather say this on the page than after you have paid for a rebuild. Most sites we audit are fixable, and a rebuild is often the most expensive way to solve a problem that was never about the design.

If your site loads reasonably, works on a phone, and you can edit it, you almost certainly do not need a new one. You need the pages that are missing, the technical signals that were never set up, and a Google profile that is actually managed. That is a fraction of the cost.

There are real reasons to rebuild, and they are specific:

Rebuild whenWhy
It does not work properly on a phoneMost local searches are mobile; a broken phone experience loses the call
You cannot edit it yourselfA site you must pay someone to change is a site that never changes
It is genuinely slowSlow pages lose visitors before they ever see your work
You do not own it or cannot get inThe most common and most avoidable trap in this industry
It is built on something abandonedUnsupported platforms become a security problem, not just a dated one

If none of those apply, keep your site and spend the money on being found. If you sell products rather than services, start at ecommerce builds instead, where the first question is whether you need a storefront at all. We will tell you which situation you are in before quoting anything.

The one that actually matters

Ownership. Ask this before you hire anybody.

Ask any web company a direct question: if I leave, what do I take with me? If the answer takes more than a few seconds, you have learned what you needed to know.

This is not hypothetical. Public complaint records in this industry include businesses reporting that an agency retained primary ownership of their accounts after the engagement ended, and a large web company with a D rating at the Better Business Bureau facing complaints describing exactly this, held information and backend access hostage to prevent a move.

The proprietary-platform version is subtler and just as binding. Your site is built on something only they can host, so leaving means starting over, and they know it. Nothing was stolen. You simply cannot go anywhere.

Ours: you own the domain, the hosting account, the site, the code, the content and every login. Built on WordPress, which runs anywhere, so any competent developer can take it over. If you leave, you leave with a working website, and that is the point.

What we build

Built for the searches, not for a portfolio.

🔍

A page per service

Not one services page listing eight things. Each service people search for gets its own page with room to actually answer their questions.

Where rankings come from
📍

A real page per market

Genuine pages for the towns you serve, since each has its own search results. Written properly, not the same page with the name swapped.

Quality over count
📱

Fast, and correct on a phone

Most of your visitors are on a phone with one hand, standing in a driveway. Tap targets, load speed and a phone number that is one tap away.

Tested, not assumed
📑

Structured data from day one

Schema markup so Google and the AI tools can read what you do without guessing. Retrofitting this later is always more work than building it in.

Built in
📞

Tracking that survives contact

Calls and forms measured properly so you know which pages produce work. A site you cannot measure is a site you cannot improve.

From launch
✍

Editable by you

You can change your hours, add a photo or update a price without emailing anybody. Sites that require a developer for small edits stop getting updated.

The difference in year two
Recent builds

Four of them, live right now.

We meant it about not building for a portfolio, so instead of screenshots, here are the sites themselves. Click through, view the source, run them through any speed tool you like. Every one is owned outright by the business it belongs to.

Worth knowing

A website alone will not make the phone ring.

This is the hardest thing to hear after paying for one. A new site does not generate traffic by existing. It is where traffic lands and converts, and something else has to bring people to it.

The businesses that see a website pay for itself are the ones that pair it with a managed Google profile, a steady flow of reviews, and content aimed at real searches. The ones that are disappointed built a beautiful site and waited.

So we would rather build you a solid site and get the profile and reviews working than build you a spectacular site that nobody visits. If your budget only stretches to one of those, take the second.

Questions we get

What owners ask about websites.

How much does a website cost?

Our pricing is published on the pricing page, all of it, so you can look before speaking to anybody. What moves the number is page count and whether content and photography exist already or need creating.

Can I keep my current domain?

Yes, and you should. Your domain carries whatever search history and authority you have built. Changing it resets that, so we only recommend it for a genuine rebrand, and then with proper redirects so nothing is lost.

What about Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy builders?

They are fine for getting online, genuinely. Plenty of real businesses run on them and it beats having no site at all.

The limits show up later: less control over technical SEO, harder to build out many service and location pages, and your site lives somewhere you cannot move it from. For a business that intends to compete in local search, those constraints start to bind.

How long does a build take?

Usually a few weeks, and the variable is almost never us. It is content and photos. Builds stall waiting for the business to supply pictures of their own work, so if you want it fast, start gathering photos now.

Will I be able to update it myself?

Yes. Hours, photos, text and prices are all editable without a developer. We will show you how, and we would rather you change things than ask permission to.

Do I need to host with you?

No. It is built on WordPress and runs on any competent host. If you want us to handle hosting we can; if you would rather own that relationship directly, that is genuinely fine and we will hand it over set up.

“
Most importantly, it’s already produced several leads for my business, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
